 JA LAWRENCE COUNTY WINS NATIONAL AWARD FOR 'SNACK SACKS' SERVICE PROJECT 

At the 2011 Annual Education Conference in Memphis, Tennessee, the Junior Auxiliary of Lawrence County received the Martha Wise Award. This Award is given to recognize outstanding Chapter service projects. JALC won the award for their project, Snack Sacks, which provides weekend snacks for a group of students in a local middle school. JALC is only one of 102 Chapters in the Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Tennessee and Texas. The National Association of Junior Auxiliary has over 13,000 members.
